Role & Responsibilities
- Record and post daily accounting journal entries to maintain the general ledger.
- Process Purchase‑to‑Pay supplier invoices (Opex and Capex), ensuring statutory, fiscal and internal control compliance; match invoices to purchase orders or perform direct accounting as required.
- Support Order‑to‑Cash activities including issuance of invoices and daily reconciliation of boutique sales.
- Manage retail accounting relationships and liaise with store administrators to resolve accounting issues.
- Execute inventory accounting and reconciliation procedures.
- Prepare and control reconciliations of intercompany balances.
- Manage tax obligations and collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the preparation and close support for annual financial statements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent written and spoken Italian and English; working knowledge of French is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant accounting experience (experience in luxury/fashion is an advantage).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail and proven analytical capability, including data synthesis.
- Autonomous, proactive and problem‑solving attitude with a hands‑on approach.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; JDE accounting system knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Purchase‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash processes, intercompany reconciliations and inventory accounting.

Experience
Minimum 5 years' professional experience in accounting or finance; prior exposure to retail or luxury fashion accounting preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
