Role & Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with major and specialty retail accounts across the US, supporting both men's and women's shoes and ready-to-wear business lines
  • Analyze fiscal and style selling performance on weekly, monthly, and seasonal bases to identify revenue-driving opportunities
  • Optimize seasonal assortments and buying strategies to ensure balanced inventory that aligns with company positioning
  • Monitor and analyze shipping and delivery flow weekly to ensure timely, seamless fulfillment to accounts
  • Manage in-season assortment changes, coordinate markdowns, returns, and product exits while supporting market week preparation
  • Lead and present at seasonal market appointments, conduct product knowledge clinics, and support retail events and activations
  • Execute order entry and closing processes for six annual buying sessions, including order processing, receipt generation, confirmation delivery, and timely cancellation communication
  • Develop and achieve agreed-upon sales targets through comprehensive budget forecasts and performance tracking
  • Build customized assortments by door and region in partnership with buying teams and management during market periods
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and strategic awareness of market competitors and their positioning
  • Facilitate daily communication with buyers across department and specialty stores to strengthen partnerships
  • Collaborate with visual merchandising teams on in-store activations and promotional initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of fashion buying or wholesale experience in a premium or luxury environment
  • Advanced knowledge of department stores, specialty boutiques, and American retail landscape with established buyer relationships preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Skypad, and Joor
  • Strong analytical and retail mathematics capabilities
  • Supervisory or management experience
