Céline Account Executive, Wholesale | New York, NY | Temporary role driving wholesale growth for luxury fashion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with major and specialty accounts across the US, supporting Men's and Women's shoes and ready-to-wear business lines
- Analyze fiscal and style selling performance on weekly, monthly, and seasonal cycles to identify growth opportunities and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to construct balanced seasonal assortments aligned with Céline's positioning and market demand
- Manage in-season assortment changes, coordinate markdowns, returns, and product rationalization
- Monitor shipping and delivery logistics weekly to ensure seamless fulfillment to retail partners
- Conduct seasonal market appointments, lead product knowledge clinics, and represent the brand at retail events
- Oversee order entry and processing for six buying sessions annually, including order preparation, confirmations, communications, and cancellation management
- Participate in budget forecasting and ensure attainment of agreed sales targets
- Build and allocate specific assortments by door and region during market weeks in consultation with buyers and management
- Monitor competitive landscape and retail trends across department and specialty channels
- Partner with visual merchandising teams on in-store brand activations and presentations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of fashion buying or wholesale experience in a premium or luxury environment
- Advanced comprehension of department store operations, specialty boutiques, and American retail landscape
- Established relationships and contacts within US wholesale channel preferred
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with solid retail mathematics proficiency
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Skypad, and JOOR platforms
- Supervisory or management experience
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving acumen
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment
