Cartier — London: Watches Product Manager Assistant (Intern, 6 months). Support product lifecycle, sampling and launches within Cartier Watches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the watches product management team across the product lifecycle: concept, development, sampling, and launch.
- Coordinate cross‑functional activity with design, production, QA, supply chain and retail to ensure milestones and quality standards are met.
- Compile and analyse market, competitive and sales data to inform assortment decisions and product positioning.
- Maintain product documentation: technical specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), sample trackers and product calendars.
- Prepare clear presentations, reports and internal communications for product reviews and commercial stakeholders.
- Follow up on prototype samples, technical corrections and supplier deliverables to expedite approval cycles.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business, Luxury Management, Product Design, Industrial Engineering, horology or a closely related field.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret sales and market data to support product decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Genuine interest in watches, fine watchmaking practices and luxury product processes.
Skills
Experience
Some prior internship or campus project experience in product, retail, merchandising, or luxury goods is preferred; exposure to watchmaking or jewelry businesses is an advantage but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme (e.g., Business, Luxury Management, Product Design, Industrial Engineering, Horology).
