Cartier seeks a Technical Polishing Specialist in Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland to lead polishing operations and mentor a team of 12 artisans in the steel bracelet workshop.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical reference for polishing processes within the steel bracelet workshop, providing expert guidance and training to polishing artisans
- Actively contribute to workshop production while overseeing work organization, daily workload distribution, and scheduling to ensure optimal performance and output targets
- Guarantee quality standards and resolve technical issues on the production floor, ensuring strict adherence to established processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the sector manager by communicating technical information, fostering team motivation, and making constructive recommendations to enhance workshop efficiency
Qualifications
- Confirmed and substantial experience in polishing techniques and metalwork
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a team of approximately 12 artisans
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- Proficiency with digital tools and software including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Shizen
