Cartier Paris is hiring a Technical Affairs Coordinator — Fragrances (Alternance). Work‑study position supporting technical, regulatory and production activities for perfume projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the fragrance technical team in the preparation and maintenance of technical files, specifications and production dossiers for perfume projects.
- Act as a liaison between R&D/perfumery, packaging, production sites and external suppliers to ensure timely exchange of technical information and sample follow-up.
- Assist in coordination of production trials, quality controls and corrective actions with internal quality teams and manufacturing partners.
- Monitor compliance with fragrance-related regulatory and safety standards (e.g., IFRA guidelines) and contribute to documentation required for regulatory submissions.
- Contribute to project planning and tracking, preparing status reports, timelines and technical summaries for project stakeholders.
- Help maintain traceability of raw materials and finished product specifications, and update databases or technical repositories as required.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a recognized higher-education work‑study (alternance) programme, ideally in chemistry, cosmetic science, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or product development.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to technical detail and document control.
- Demonstrable ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage simple project timelines.
- Good organisational skills, autonomy and a collaborative attitude; readiness to visit suppliers or production sites when required.
- Practical laboratory or production internship experience in cosmetics, perfumery or FMCG is an advantage.

Suitable for candidates at the beginning of their career enrolled in an alternance/work‑study programme; prior internships or practical experience in cosmetics, perfumery, product development or production environments are beneficial but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; placement must be eligible for alternance (work‑study).
