Cartier — Paris: Sustainable Development Intern. Support sustainability reporting, supplier engagement and ESG projects for the Maison in Paris.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Sustainability / CSR team in collecting, analysing and consolidating quantitative data for environmental and social reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of internal and external sustainability reports and disclosures (data tables, slide decks and written summaries).
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on industry best practices, regulations and ESG frameworks to inform strategy.
  • Assist with supplier engagement and due-diligence initiatives related to responsible sourcing and traceability.
  • Prepare materials for cross‑functional workshops and stakeholder meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Support project management tasks for sustainability programmes, timelines and monitoring of key performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, business with a sustainability focus, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience handling quantitative data (academic projects, internships or coursework).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear presentations and summaries.
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate sustainability, responsible sourcing, or circularity within the luxury sector.
  • Organised, proactive and able to coordinate with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Carbon footprint calculation / GHG accounting (scope familiarity) Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools such as SimaPro or OpenLCA Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, SASB, TCFD)

Experience

Academic coursework and project work in sustainability, CSR, environmental assessment or related subjects; 0–1 prior internship(s) in sustainability, supply chain or consulting preferred but not required.

Education

Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (environmental science, sustainability management, engineering, business with sustainability focus or equivalent).
