Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the international product strategy and collection roadmap for Cartier watches, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: concept, technical specification, prototyping, industrialisation, pricing, launch and post-launch performance analysis.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams — design, R&D, industrialisation, procurement, quality, marketing, retail and wholesale — to deliver product milestones on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical dossiers and specifications for movements, complications and components; oversee prototype testing and quality control protocols.
  • Prepare commercialisation materials and sell‑in tools for regional teams and distributors; support merchandising, assortment planning and launch sequencing by market.
  • Manage product budgets, margin analysis and pricing strategies to meet financial targets while preserving brand equity.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence and client feedback to inform future product decisions and innovation priorities.
  • Represent product interests in negotiations with external partners and suppliers; ensure compliance with regulatory and brand quality standards.
  • Travel internationally as required to support launches, suppliers and regional teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years' progressive experience in product management, product development or product marketing within watches/horology or luxury goods; proven track record of international launches.
  • Deep technical understanding of watchmaking: movements, complications, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen: pricing, margin management and assortment planning for retail and wholesale channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross‑disciplinary programmes and tight launch schedules.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills; ability to influence senior internal and external partners.
  • Fluent French and English highly desirable; additional languages an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for supplier audits, production follow‑up and market launches.
