Cartier in London seeks a Senior PR Manager (12-month FTC) to lead media relations, campaigns and events for the Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute PR strategy for the UK market in alignment with global and regional communications plans, ensuring consistency with brand positioning and campaign objectives.
- Manage day-to-day media relations, cultivate relationships with national and trade press, and secure high-quality coverage across print, digital and broadcast platforms.
- Lead planning and delivery of product launches, editorial previews, press events and experiential activations, overseeing creative direction, logistics and on-site execution.
- Commission, brief and supervise external agencies and freelance contributors; set KPIs, approve deliverables and ensure cost-effective delivery against budget.
- Own crisis and sensitive communications when required, preparing messaging, Q&As and escalation protocols in partnership with legal and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing, retail, digital and creative teams to integrate PR activity with campaigns, influencer programmes and client events.
- Monitor media performance, provide regular reporting and insight-driven recommendations to optimise PR ROI and narrative penetration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification or specialised training in luxury communications a plus.
- Proven track record in luxury goods, high jewellery, fashion or premium lifestyle brands with demonstrable results in national media coverage.
- Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholder groups, with responsibility for budgets and campaign P&L.
- Strong editorial judgement, impeccable written English and experience preparing spokespeople and senior executives for media engagements.
- Ability to operate with discretion and professionalism handling high-profile projects and confidential matters.

Minimum of 6 years of progressive PR experience, ideally within luxury jewellery, watches, fashion or premium lifestyle sectors, including demonstrable experience leading campaigns, managing agencies and engaging national press.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred but not mandatory.
