Cartier Sales Associate role in Paris, managing sales channels, strategic accounts, contracts, pricing and CRM.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a sales channel and develop and implement channel sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Identify business opportunities, set sales targets, and monitor performance metrics to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Manage channel-partner relationships, negotiate contracts, and provide partners with training and support to sell products and services effectively.
  • Develop relationship-management plans for complex prospective customer accounts, building ties with relevant decision-makers and influencers to support information exchange and issue resolution.
  • Set objectives for sales calls; deliver presentations tailored to customer decision-makers’ and influencers’ interests and needs; gather and analyze relevant information; and secure agreement on customer requirements.
  • Build a personal network in the business sector and represent the organization at industry events to gather market intelligence and enhance the visibility and reputation of its products and services.
  • Configure complex product and service solutions and contractual terms for customers’ mid- to long-term needs, incorporating input from internal specialists; present solutions and negotiate agreements within commercial parameters, or review and authorize non-standard team proposals, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Manage pricing and terms projects and negotiate pricing and terms with external strategic partners.
  • Control assigned segments of business performance metrics, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.
  • Manage a contract portfolio and negotiate service-level agreements; plan, coordinate, and supervise activities related to major contracts.
  • Oversee CRM system implementation and maintenance within the area of responsibility, identifying and communicating system-improvement opportunities.
  • Implement and monitor compliance management for assigned segments of external partners.
  • Develop product education courses to address identified needs, improve performance, and meet business requirements.
  • Serve as the team’s subject-matter expert in technology, policy, regulation, or operational management; maintain external accreditations and up-to-date knowledge of regulations and industry practices through professional development, conferences, and specialist media.
  • Ensure activities and responsibilities comply with the company’s diversity and inclusion guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent level of education.
  • Extensive experience handling the majority of situations and advising others.
  • Experience in the general supervision of more junior colleagues.
