Cartier seeks a Quality Project Manager in La Chaux-de-Fonds to lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop data-driven quality performance systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects, identifying and analysing performance opportunities
- Structure and manage action plans using problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA, DMAIC, and root-cause analysis techniques
- Develop data-driven performance monitoring systems by identifying, collecting, and validating quality-related datasets
- Design and implement relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and automate their calculation and distribution where possible
- Transform data and analytics into actionable business intelligence to support decision-making across quality functions
- Consult with operational teams to understand their requirements and propose practical, field-appropriate solutions
- Communicate analyses and results clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholder groups
- Support end-users in adopting and utilising new quality management tools and systems
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience in quality management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven expertise in project management
- Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to investigate problems and identify root causes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data manipulation
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI (highly preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
Skills
Experience
Experience in quality management and project management within an industrial or manufacturing context. Knowledge of problem-solving frameworks and continuous improvement practices is expected.
Education
Engineering degree from an accredited engineering school or equivalent qualification in quality management, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
