Cartier Quality Manager, Glovelier Switzerland – lead quality strategy and operations at luxury watchmaking manufacture.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Guarantee product and process quality standards across all manufacturing activities
  • Define, deploy, and evolve the manufacture's quality strategy and objectives
  • Pilot quality indicators and analyse trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead and develop the Quality team, fostering autonomy, accountability, and skill advancement
  • Identify root causes of non-conformities and manage corrective and preventive action plans
  • Partner with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish and maintain a risk prevention and quality risk management culture
  • Participate in industrialisation, product development, and process improvement projects
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Methods, Industrialisation, Development, and Logistics teams
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and lead associated improvement programmes
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits
  • Ensure application and evolution of quality standards, procedures, and tools

Qualifications

  • General engineering diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Confirmed experience in a quality function, preferably in a demanding industrial environment
  • Preferred experience in watchmaking, microtechnics, or precision manufacturing sectors
  • Expertise in quality management and mastery of problem-solving tools, root cause analysis, FMEA, and SPC
  • Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, risk management, and quality auditing methodologies
  • Demonstrated capability to lead, support, and develop teams
  • Strong leadership, rigour, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across different departments and hierarchical levels
  • Skilled at transforming quality issues into concrete, sustainable action plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to persuade and unite stakeholders
