Cartier Paris | Quality Control Inspector - Finished Products | Manufacturing Quality role in Paris 9ème
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive quality inspections (visual, dimensional, functional) on finished jewelry products in adherence to established control plans and specifications
- Record all inspection results and non-conformance data in SAP systems
- Generate refusal notices in SAP for detected defects and alert production workshops of quality deviations
- Conduct prototype evaluations within product improvement initiatives
- Prioritize inspection workflows based on production urgency and material flow
- Train production teams on quality control requirements and inspection methodologies
- Escalate critical or recurring non-conformances to management
- Participate in product audits and quality improvement projects
- Update inspection instructions and quality documentation to reflect product or process changes
- Manage quality stock inventory including receipt, stock movements, traceability, and periodic inventories
Qualifications
- Prior experience in production or quality control functions
- Technical diploma or equivalent (Bac Professionnel or CAP in a related field preferred)
- Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
