Role & Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and optimise detailed production schedules and shop-floor sequencing to meet delivery targets while maximising workshop capacity.
  • Execute MRP runs, convert forecasts into firm production orders and release orders to workshops according to priority and capacity constraints.
  • Monitor daily shop-floor progress, identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions with production, quality and maintenance teams.
  • Manage short-term capacity planning and overtime proposals; align resource allocation with master production plan and sales priorities.
  • Maintain and update master data related to routing, lead-times and work centres; ensure accuracy of production orders and BOMs.
  • Liaise with procurement, warehouse and logistics to secure material availability and avoid production stoppages.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (OTD, lead time adherence, WIP levels); propose continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce variance.
  • Participate in change management for scheduling tools and processes, and support periodic production planning cycles and reviews.

Qualifications

  • Business-fluent French and working proficiency in English.
  • Vocational diploma or Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics or equivalent; watchmaking vocational qualifications are an asset.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrable experience using MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge of capacity planning, lead-time calculation and shop-floor control.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise under shifting production constraints.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and to drive corrective actions on the shop floor.
