Cartier Villars-sur-Glâne: Production Mechanic Apprentice (CFC), 3-year manufacturing programme commencing August 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform machining operations on conventional and CNC machinery
- Fabricate mechanical components for single-unit and series production
- Execute machine setup, calibration, and commissioning
- Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Conduct quality inspections and dimensional verification of produced components
- Identify and analyse machining defects and discrepancies
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate effectively across diverse métiers and departments
Qualifications
- Proficiency in French, both written and oral, sufficient to succeed in professional training
- Strong mathematical aptitude with capacity for logical and technical reasoning
- Demonstrated interest and curiosity in mechanics, machining, and emerging technologies
- Manual dexterity, meticulous attention to detail, and precision orientation
- Autonomy, rigour, and proactive problem-solving mindset
