Cartier Production Mechanic Apprentice, La Chaux-de-Fonds: Three-year CFC apprenticeship in precision machining and manufacturing, commencing August 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute machining operations on conventional and CNC equipment
- Fabricate precision mechanical components for unit and series production
- Configure and commission machinery for production runs
- Read, interpret, and apply technical blueprints and documentation
- Perform quality assurance and dimensional verification of manufactured parts
- Identify, document, and analyze machining defects and anomalies
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within production workflows
- Collaborate across departments and manufacturing specialties
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in French (oral and written) to support vocational training
- Solid foundation in mathematics with aptitude for logical and technical reasoning
