Cartier apprenticeship: Production Mechanic (CFC) in Glovelier, Switzerland. Three-year technical training programme starting August 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform machining operations on conventional and CNC machinery
- Fabricate single-unit and series mechanical components to specification
- Conduct equipment setup and machine operation protocols
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Execute quality control inspections and dimensional verification of produced parts
- Identify and analyse machining defects and deviations
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate across production departments and functional teams
Qualifications
- Strong oral and written French proficiency adequate for professional technical training
- Demonstrated aptitude in mathematics with logical and technical reasoning skills
- Genuine interest and curiosity in mechanics, machining, and advanced manufacturing technologies

Experience
No prior professional experience required; candidates must demonstrate strong academic performance and genuine interest in mechanical manufacturing and precision engineering.
Education
Swiss compulsory education completion (Scolarité obligatoire) or equivalent; successful candidates will pursue Federal Certificate of Competence (Certificat Fédéral de Capacité) in mechanical production manufacturing during the three-year apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will be located in Glovelier, Jura, Switzerland, with easy access to Geneva.
