Cartier Production Line Manager position in Le Locle, Switzerland. Lead manufacturing operations and manage production teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and optimize departmental operations; recruit, evaluate, and develop team members while fostering retention and expertise
- Serve as a communication liaison for team members and ambassador of Maison values
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing methodologies and adopting a coaching mindset to identify performance optimization solutions
- Embody and promote company values, inspiring the team to adopt and champion them in the work environment
- Manage conflicts and cultivate a healthy, stimulating workplace atmosphere
- Contribute actively to the Maison's sustainable development initiatives
- Maintain existing processes and participate in implementing new manufacturing processes
- Participate in production scheduling and planning
- Manage consumable supplies and inventory for the sector while controlling allocated budgets
- Ensure information sharing with partners and team members
- Monitor production performance using digital tools and prepare sector reports
- Propose improvements to production efficiency, ergonomics, workflow, methodology, and quality
- Guarantee compliance of manufacturing processes and product quality
- Enforce adherence to established processes and undertake corrective actions in partnership with support departments
- Lead product and process audits in collaboration with the quality team
- Ensure strict compliance with safety and security procedures
Qualifications
- Higher education diploma or equivalent qualification
- Confirmed experience in a similar management role, ideally within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial production processes or demonstrated interest in luxury jewelry manufacturing
- Pragmatic and holistic vision of the operational environment
- Ability to address cross-functional technical and managerial challenges
- Autonomy and willingness to assume responsibility in a demanding environment
- Comfort with financial analysis and standard digital tools
- Strong communication and reporting capabilities
Skills
Experience
Confirmed experience in a similar supervisory or managerial position, preferably within industrial manufacturing or luxury goods production. Demonstrated ability to lead production teams, manage quality and safety compliance, and drive operational improvements.
Education
Higher education diploma or equivalent professional qualification required.
