Cartier is recruiting a Procurement Buyer (Packaging & Subcontracting - Fragrances) for a 4-month contract in Paris, France.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage request for proposals and price negotiations for fragrance concentrates, packaging components, and subcontracting services (manufacturing and conditioning) in line with defined cost objectives
  • Identify and propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and supplier value delivery
  • Pilot supplier attributions, design validation sign-offs, and packaging validation notes while managing high-risk commitments
  • Drive timely execution of product launch projects while ensuring punctual delivery of procurement milestones
  • Monitor launch and catalog activity performance, key performance indicators, and related reporting
  • Conduct annual supplier negotiations across the defined portfolio; manage tooling budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) and ancillary expenses
  • Oversee supplier key performance indicators and governance touchpoints with Industrial Direction and Cartier Operations
  • Maintain and monitor the supplier panel database including turnover, market penetration, financial health, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure systematic data management for launches and product range within SAP, correcting identified system anomalies
  • Support quarterly Procurement Performance Reviews and contribute to budget variance analysis

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent with procurement specialization
  • Minimum 4 years of procurement experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP systems (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder negotiations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven success in continuous improvement and proactive initiative development

Experience
