Cartier seeks a Polishing Technician in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland to lead finishing operations and client services in luxury watchmaking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute polishing operations, retouching, and finishing work on components to Cartier's quality specifications
- Oversee delivery of polishing workflows and quality checkpoints, verifying that finished components meet brand standards
- Coordinate team activities and assign short-term work schedules to meet project timelines and expectations
- Identify areas for continuous improvement within polishing operations and implement process enhancements
- Manage project resources and costs efficiently, providing forecasts and variance analysis to supervisors
- Lead communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, deliverables, and any issues requiring escalation
- Prepare quality assurance reports and documentation on polishing operations and client service activities
