  • Perform final surface inspection using loupe and microscope; identify and correct scratches, pits and surface imperfections.
  • Interpret technical drawings and finishing specifications to achieve consistent dimensional and aesthetic tolerances.
  • Maintain and calibrate polishing equipment, tools and consumables; ensure cleanliness and readiness of the polishing bench.
  • Work closely with gemsetters, quality control and production planning to meet delivery schedules and preserve product integrity.
  • Document process steps and quality checkpoints in line with internal traceability and compliance procedures.
  • Adhere to workshop health, safety and environmental procedures including correct handling of polishing agents and dust control.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in polishing precious metals for high‑end jewellery or watch components (preferred 2–5 years).
  • Excellent manual dexterity, colour and surface finish sensitivity, and very steady hand‑eye coordination.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise finishing specifications.
