Cartier Paris: Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing, data management, and HR administrative functions in this full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll within established deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Validate, input, and maintain payroll data to guarantee accurate and efficient payroll service delivery
- Prepare payroll for bank submission and financial system entry; prepare manual payments as needed
- Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
- Study, analyze, design, and test minor modifications to financial systems while providing second-line user support
- Create and maintain a local document management system for the office or department, ensuring efficient and secure document handling
- Contribute to the preparation of various data reports and analyses, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices
- Respond to routine functional requests following established procedures and precedents
- Resolve complex inquiries from internal and external clients or suppliers by providing policy and procedure information
- Support the design and implementation of employee compensation structures and benefits programs, providing relevant financial analyses and external practice benchmarking
- Develop knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, regulatory codes, and conduct standards to ensure compliance
- Establish effective working relationships within the client organization and contribute to partnership relationship management
- Develop professional competencies through formal and informal training, coaching, and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Post-secondary non-tertiary education required
- Basic experience with simple office automation and operational systems
- Very limited managerial experience
- Understanding of payroll regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in financial and payroll software systems
