Cartier seeks a packaging development intern for a 6-month role in Paris. Translate marketing briefs into technical solutions for fragrance packaging projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse marketing briefs and mockups; participate in project presentations and draft technical product specifications
- Prepare technical briefs for supplier requests for quotations (RFQs); evaluate technical aspects of supplier proposals including materials, technologies, and design specifications
- Track the evolution of packaging development stages and coordinate exchanges with quality and homologation teams on component testing and approvals
- Create and maintain project timelines from inception to packaging delivery; update schedules and communicate progress to the project manager
- Receive and manage printing documentation from marketing; transmit compliant and usable files to printers and decorators; validate print proofs (BAG) with suppliers
- Create, update, and maintain technical specifications for packaging articles; collect and format data for the technical database
- Contribute to environmental impact analysis of packaging initiatives and propose eco-design solutions to reduce environmental footprint
Qualifications
- Engineering school background with specialization in packaging, materials, or product design (Bac+4 or Bac+5)
- Proficiency with SAP and Solidworks software
- Strong technical curiosity and product knowledge
- Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated collaborative abilities
Skills
Experience
Academic exposure to packaging design, materials science, or product development; familiarity with perfumery or luxury goods sectors is advantageous.
Education
Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+4 minimum) with specialization in packaging, materials, or design.

This position is based in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 1,400 per month.
