Cartier seeks Movement Constructor in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Design and develop precision watch movements with 5+ years of horological expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop new watch movements and conduct feasibility studies with 3D construction
- Present and defend movement construction during design review sessions
- Pilot or execute technical documentation files and ensure compliance with NIHS and GPS standards
- Accompany qualifications and approvals of technical files
- Maintain regular communication with external partners and suppliers
- Manage the complete lifecycle of products and ensure availability of technical data via PLM systems
Qualifications
- Superior education in horological construction or microtechnics with horological construction specialization
- Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in horological movement construction
- Solid knowledge of materials, structural calculations, and numerical simulations
- Mastery of NIHS and GPS standards
- Proficiency with CREO software (advantageous)
