Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the production of unique high-jewelry pieces in compliance with Cartier's quality, cost, and delivery standards in close collaboration with production planning teams
• Supervise a dedicated micro-atelier team of approximately ten master jewelers, ensuring adherence to workshop protocols, health and safety regulations, and company policies
• Actively participate in recruitment and onboarding of artisans; monitor team integration and professional development
• Conduct individual performance reviews and professional development interviews in accordance with the company's annual calendar
• Coordinate and deploy training plans for the team; validate training requests aligned with individual needs and Maison objectives, and communicate approved training programs to staff
• Manage work-in-progress inventory and prepare inventory records in liaison with relevant departments
• Participate actively in assigning pieces to jewelers and scheduling production workflows in collaboration with the production pilot
• Conduct weekly production monitoring meetings with the micro-atelier team to track progress and resolve bottlenecks
• Provide daily technical support through stand-ups on the advancement of each piece
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications and maintain aesthetic and quality standards, particularly finishing quality
• Serve as technical coordinator with setters and polishers on pieces assigned to the zone
• Guarantee delivery commitments and adherence to production timelines; alert management to any delays or deviations
• Ensure adherence to initial quotation costs and review quotations in the event of major iterations
• Allocate approximately 40% of working time to direct production of high-jewelry pieces

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the haute joaillerie sector and certified at the O-J4 technical level or equivalent
• Demonstrated success in team management and personnel leadership
• Advanced technical expertise in fine jewelry techniques enabling daily team support and quality assurance
• Proven pedagogical skills and ability to mentor and develop team competencies
• Strong organizational abilities with proactive approach and heightened sense of responsibility and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to inspire, engage, and align team members toward shared objectives
• Recognized for enforcing and maintaining workshop standards and procedures across the team

Skills

Experience

Significant hands-on experience in haute joaillerie production, combined with demonstrated success in leading and developing artisan teams within a manufacturing or atelier environment.

Education

Formal training or certification in fine jewelry craftsmanship (O-J4 level or equivalent professional qualification); management or supervisory training is advantageous.
