Cartier Master Enameller position in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Execute precision enamel work on luxury watch components with 3+ years' horological experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute enamel application on watch components in strict adherence to operational specifications and design directives
- Prepare and maintain workstation inventory according to production scheduling and component sequencing
- Select appropriate enamel formulations that align with design intent and technical requirements
- Apply advanced enamelling techniques, including specialized methods such as grisaille work
- Document all completed work through written records and photographic documentation
- Perform repair and restoration procedures on enamelled pieces, diagnosing technical defects and determining remediation requirements
- Participate in quality verification processes to ensure manufacturing conformance
- Support production process optimization through technological awareness and continuous improvement suggestions
- Contribute to knowledge capitalization and mentor others in enamelling best practices
- Participate in training activities related to evolving manufacturing processes and techniques
Qualifications
- Certification as an Enameller from the Swiss Watch Industry Employers' Convention or equivalent recognized credential
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in enamelling within horology or fine jewellery sectors
- Advanced knowledge of enamel materials, pigments, and paint formulations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail while collaborating effectively within team environments
- Ability to interpret and execute artistic designs, particularly grisaille techniques requiring fine drawing skills
- Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an enameller in the horology or fine jewellery sector, with demonstrated proficiency in both production and restoration enamelling work.
Education
Certification as an Enameller from the Swiss Watch Industry Employers' Convention (Convention patronale de l'industrie horlogère suisse) or internationally recognized equivalent qualification in fine enamelling.
