Role & Responsibilities

• Fabricate, adapt, and assemble fine jewelry pieces according to operational procedures and quality, speed, deadline, and safety requirements
• Develop comprehensive project plans ensuring all activities are meticulously organized to achieve project objectives and comply with the organization's project management framework
• Oversee research, workshop activities, and other initiatives to define and agree upon project deliverables
• Develop and implement stakeholder mobilization strategies to foster effective working relationships and address concerns
• Coordinate identification, analysis, documentation, and management of project requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, escalating as necessary and implementing mitigation solutions
• Prepare detailed project review reports including key information, commentary, and recommendations to support stakeholder assessment of progress
• Lead a small project team, communicate expected outcomes and directions clearly, coordinate team actions, and identify improvement opportunities through coaching and mentoring
• Review existing operations and generate new ideas to identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Manage project resources effectively, proactively manage costs, provide forecasts, and present variances with explanations at appropriate review points
• Assign short-term work schedules to team members to meet expectations within deadlines
• Prepare complex documents using standard office applications and technology platforms; collect and synthesize data for reports
• Develop product documentation and user training materials to support operational transition
• Conduct internal project assurance reviews and facilitate independent third-party audits; take appropriate corrective actions to resolve identified issues
• Stay informed of relevant technologies, external regulations, and industry best practices through continuous training, conference participation, and specialized publications

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent level required
• Proven experience and understanding of simple procedures and systems
• Basic experience coordinating the work of others
• Experienced practitioner capable of working without direct supervision

Skills

Experience

Proven experience in jewelry fabrication and assembly, project coordination, and basic team supervision. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workshop operations in compliance with quality, timeline, and safety standards.

Education

Post-secondary non-higher education or equivalent qualification
