Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the boutique manager in day‑to‑day retail operations, ensuring seamless service and adherence to Cartier’s operational standards.
  • Assist with clienteling activities: coordinate appointments, welcome VIP clients, maintain client records and support follow‑up communications.
  • Contribute to merchandising and visual standards by preparing displays, replenishing stock and ensuring product presentation meets maison guidelines.
  • Participate in stock administration: receive deliveries, perform inventory checks, process transfers and support loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Provide sales assistance on the boutique floor, including product demonstrations, upselling and answering detailed product and craftsmanship queries.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, POS support, reporting sales figures and preparing materials for events or trunk shows.
  • Support boutique events and private client appointments, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Undertake structured learning of Cartier product ranges and maison history to develop authoritative product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma in Luxury Management, Fashion, Business, Retail Management or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable interest in fine jewellery, watches and luxury retail; strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; customer‑facing maturity and discretion when serving high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Right to work in the UK for the duration of the 6‑month internship.
  • Prior retail, hospitality or client‑service experience preferred; previous experience in luxury retail is an asset.
