Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce, assemble and finish high‑jewellery pieces to Maison quality standards, executing complex metalwork and hand finishing.
  • Set gemstones (pavé, prong, bezel and other techniques) with precision and respect for gem integrity and design intent.
  • Perform micro‑soldering, polishing, engraving and other bench skills to achieve flawless aesthetic and structural results.
  • Interpret technical drawings, prototypes and CAD outputs to translate design into manufacturable pieces.
  • Execute rigorous quality control checks, document work, and adjust pieces to meet tolerance and wearability criteria.
  • Collaborate with design, prototyping and repair teams to resolve technical issues and improve production processes.
  • Maintain bench tools, microscopic equipment and a clean, safety‑compliant workspace; train or mentor junior bench staff when required.

Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification in jewellery-making, goldsmithing or equivalent (e.g., CAP/BEP in bijouterie/joaillerie) or proven apprenticeship background.
  • Demonstrable mastery of classical stone-setting techniques and precious‑metal joining/finishing.
  • Strong visual acuity, manual dexterity and sustained attention to fine detail under magnification.
  • Understanding of gemological properties and safe handling of precious stones; gemology certification (desirable).
  • Commitment to the exacting quality standards of high‑jewellery production and confidentiality regarding proprietary designs.
