Cartier seeks an International Marketing Accessories Collection Director in Paris to lead global product strategy, team management, and cross-functional initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leads, engages, and develops a team of managers and interns through an inspiring, empowering management style, providing clarity of objectives, regular feedback, and career development support
  • Develops and implements 3- to 5-year strategic plans in collaboration with the Marketing Director and departmental leadership
  • Defines and manages comprehensive action plans for product categories, including product mix, launches, animations, and resource allocation
  • Establishes collection plans and launch strategies in partnership with group and product managers, initiating creative briefs and guiding product development from conception to finalization
  • Analyzes business performance through quantitative and qualitative metrics, defining sales assumptions and global launch strategies in collaboration with merchandising and operations teams
  • Identifies and implements initiatives to sustain business growth, responding to market needs and managing the product portfolio
  • Leads 360-degree activation projects, animating cross-functional stakeholders and coordinating stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines
  • Co-develops product training strategies for markets in collaboration with learning and development teams
  • Co-manages gross margin responsibility, setting and validating cost objectives for novelties, establishing world pricing, and optimizing profitability
  • Coordinates cross-functional projects as a representative of the marketing function, promoting transversality across product categories and departments

Qualifications

  • Higher education background from a business school or management programme
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in the luxury sector
  • Demonstrated experience in project and/or transformation management within complex, matrix-driven environments
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering major projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Strong product sensibility and experience developing collection plans and product offerings
  • International exposure with fluency in both French and English
