Cartier is hiring an International Fragrance Marketing Director in Paris to lead global fragrance strategy and launches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global fragrance brand strategy and positioning across markets, channels and product life cycles.
- Lead end-to-end fragrance product launches in coordination with R&D, perfumers, packaging and commercial teams to ensure brand integrity and commercial success.
- Direct integrated marketing communications — encompassing above- and below-the-line, digital, CRM and retail activations — to maximise brand equity and sales growth.
- Manage global partnerships with creative agencies, media planners, influencers and retail partners, ensuring consistent creative execution and high production standards.
- Own marketing budgets, forecast demand, set KPIs and measure ROI to optimise spend and deliver margin objectives.
- Build, coach and lead a matrixed international team while aligning cross-functional stakeholders in product, sales, legal and regulatory affairs.
- Ensure compliance with fragrance regulations and certification requirements, and oversee product claims and labelling in close collaboration with legal and regulatory teams.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury fragrance or perfumery marketing with progressive responsibility at regional or global level.
- History of successfully launching and scaling fragrance collections across multiple geographies and channels.
- Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams and external agency networks.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets and ROI-driven marketing programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence senior leadership and trade partners.
- Willingness to travel internationally and to work across time zones as required.

Experience
Approximately 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in luxury fragrance or beauty at regional or global scope; demonstrable record of leading product launches and managing international teams and agency partners.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent; master’s degree in marketing, luxury management or a related discipline preferred.
