Role & Responsibilities

  • Support skilled artisans and production teams with day‑to‑day tasks on the workshop floor under close supervision.
  • Carry out precision assembly, handling and basic finishing operations following established technical instructions and quality standards.
  • Assist with quality control checks, visual inspection and documentation of nonconformities or production logs.
  • Prepare and maintain workstations, tools and materials to ensure a clean, safe and efficient production environment.
  • Contribute to small improvement projects, maintain accurate records and participate in learning sessions or technical briefings.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a relevant vocational, technical or university programme (e.g., horology, jewellery, micro‑mechanics, industrial engineering or related disciplines).
  • Strong manual dexterity, hand–eye coordination and fine motor control suited to small‑part assembly.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining Cartier’s exacting quality standards.
  • Willingness to learn in a workshop environment and follow health & safety procedures.
  • Interest in luxury watchmaking or jewellery craftsmanship; previous hands‑on experience or prior internships are advantageous.
