Role & Responsibilities

  • Support cross‑functional innovation projects from ideation through prototyping, testing and documentation.
  • Conduct technical and market benchmarking, compile research findings and prepare concise reports and presentations for project teams.
  • Assist in the design and fabrication of prototypes using workshop tools and coordinate small‑scale test campaigns under senior supervision.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, production and external suppliers to track project milestones and maintain project logs.
  • Contribute to problem‑solving workshops, design reviews and technical meetings; translate feedback into actionable next steps.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in engineering, materials science, industrial design, horology or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to synthesise technical information and present findings clearly.
  • Demonstrated interest in luxury watchmaking, materials innovation or product development.
  • Professional demeanour, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Experience

Previous internship experience in product development, prototyping, R&D or a technical workshop is advantageous but not required; candidates should demonstrate project work or coursework relevant to innovation and engineering.

Education

Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme (engineering, materials science, industrial design, horology or equivalent).

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Le Locle, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with easy access to Neuchâtel.
