Cartier — Paris: Industrial Development Intern (Objects & Accessories), July 2026 internship supporting product industrialization and production ramp-up.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the industrialization of new objects and accessories from prototype to production, including follow-up on trials and pilot runs.
- Prepare and maintain technical production files, specifications and process documentation for internal teams and suppliers.
- Coordinate with design, R&D, quality and procurement teams to ensure manufacturability, cost control and compliance with luxury standards.
- Conduct and document tests, measurements and quality checks; analyse results and propose corrective actions or process improvements.
- Work with suppliers and ateliers to monitor timelines, resolve technical issues and support ramp-up to series production.
- Contribute to cost analyses, failure mode assessments and continuous-improvement initiatives related to materials and processes.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or technical degree program (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science or equivalent) at Master’s or final-year Bachelor level.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and product assembly methods relevant to accessories and luxury objects.
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings, tolerancing and specifications.
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in data handling for test results and production follow-up.
- Professional maturity, attention to detail and capacity to work cross-functionally in a fastidious luxury environment.

Experience
Previous internship experience in industrialization, manufacturing, prototyping or quality control is advantageous but not mandatory; demonstrable project work or academic exposure to production processes is expected.
Education
Enrolled in an engineering or technical university program (Bachelor final year or Master level) in industrial/mechanical engineering, materials science, or equivalent.
