Cartier — Financial Performance Analyst Intern (6 months) in Geneva. Support FP&A reporting, forecasting and performance analysis for the maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support monthly and ad hoc financial reporting cycles: prepare P&L reconciliations, variance analyses and management packs.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by consolidating inputs, running scenarios and updating rolling forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor sales, margin and inventory performance across channels and product categories.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes using Excel and business intelligence tools; propose process improvements to increase efficiency and data quality.
  • Partner with commercial, retail and supply chain teams to interpret results, investigate drivers of performance and support decision-making.
  • Prepare clear, concise slide decks and data visualisations for finance and senior management reviews.
  • Deliver small-scale ad hoc financial analyses and business cases to support launches, promotions or operational initiatives, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive data.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with proven academic performance in quantitative subjects.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic VBA or macros beneficial).
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to translate numbers into concise business insights.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
  • Discretion and respect for commercial confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
