Cartier in Meyrin (Geneva) seeks a Financial Analytics Engineer on an 18-month contract to build finance data models, dashboards and automated reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain end-to-end financial data models and analytics pipelines to support FP&A, reporting and performance management.
  • Create interactive dashboards and management reports that translate complex financial data into actionable insights for finance and commercial stakeholders.
  • Implement and optimise ETL/ELT processes to ensure data integrity, timeliness and scalability across finance data domains.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, IT and business teams to define requirements, validate assumptions and embed analytics into budgeting, forecasting and decision workflows.
  • Automate recurring financial reports, reconciliations and KPI calculations to reduce manual effort and improve governance.
  • Ensure best practices in data modelling, version control and documentation; provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to finance users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in financial analytics, data engineering or FP&A analytics, preferably within retail, luxury goods or corporate finance.
  • Proven experience translating finance requirements into robust analytical solutions and production-grade data pipelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience delivering to senior finance and commercial stakeholders on fixed-term projects.

Experience

Mid-level: typically 3–5 years combining financial analytics/FP&A exposure with hands-on data engineering or analytics engineering responsibilities; prior experience in retail or luxury sectors is advantageous.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
