Role & Responsibilities
- Execute traditional and contemporary enamelling techniques (grand feu, cloisonné, champlevé, plique‑à‑jour and hand‑painting) for dials and decorative elements to the maison’s exacting standards.
- Prepare and mix enamel powders and pigments, apply successive enamel layers, and control kiln firings to achieve required colour, translucency and surface quality.
- Perform microscopic finishing, polishing and assembly preparation, ensuring dimensional tolerances and optical consistency for subsequent watchmaking or jewellery processes.
- Collaborate with design, quality control and restoration teams to interpret specifications, troubleshoot technical issues and propose finishing solutions.
- Maintain detailed process documentation, adherence to safety protocols for kiln and chemical handling, and upkeep of specialised tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Formal training or apprenticeship in enamelling, watchmaking, goldsmithing or an equivalent artisanal discipline.
- Proven professional experience in high‑precision enamelling within watchmaking or high jewellery ateliers; demonstrable portfolio of finished pieces.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, visual acuity and refined colour sensibility; comfort working under a microscope and on small-scale components.
- Knowledge of kiln operation, temperature control and the chemical behaviour of vitreous enamels.
- Capacity to read technical drawings and follow strict quality and conservation standards.

Several years of hands‑on experience in enamelling for high‑end watchmaking or jewellery ateliers, with a track record of producing precision enamel dials or decorative elements to luxury standards.
Education
