Carolina Herrera seeks Retail Design & Visual Merchandising Specialist for temporary maternity cover in Barcelona.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design functional and visually impactful permanent retail spaces, fixtures and POS materials
- Develop creative concepts, technical drawings and production files
- Support the development of makeup retail spaces, including grid systems and permanent displays
- Select materials and construction solutions, and follow up on prototypes and mock-ups
- Coordinate projects from creative development through production and market implementation
- Validate manufacturing plans, prototypes and samples with suppliers
- Ensure quality and consistency across international and locally produced POS materials
- Maintain and update corporate guidelines, master files and permanent image documentation
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Go-to-Market, Digital, Education and operational teams
- Understand local market needs and propose solutions that improve visibility and customer journey
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in retail design or visual merchandising, ideally within beauty, makeup, luxury or fashion
- Strong creative and aesthetic sensibility with excellent attention to detail
- Experience managing projects across creative development, production and implementation
- Knowledge of materials, fixtures and production processes
- Strong AutoCAD skills; SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop highly valued
- Collaborative, proactive and well organised with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent English and Spanish

Experience
3–5 years of experience in retail design or visual merchandising, ideally within beauty, makeup, luxury or fashion sectors. Demonstrated experience managing projects from creative development through production and implementation. Knowledge of materials, fixtures and manufacturing processes required.
Education
Degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture or a related design field.
