Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the prestige fragrance product strategy and roadmap across global markets, aligning portfolio decisions with brand positioning and commercial targets.
- Lead end-to-end product development (briefing, formulation coordination, packaging, costing and regulatory clearance) and manage launch workflows in close partnership with R&D, creative, supply chain and marketing teams.
- Own portfolio lifecycle management including range architecture, pricing strategy, SKU rationalisation and promotional mechanics to maximise margin and sell-through.
- Collaborate with marketing and regional sales to develop go-to-market plans, trade marketing activations and bespoke retail experiences for key launches.
- Manage P&L responsibility for assigned fragrance lines, including forecasting, inventory planning and performance analysis versus targets.
- Drive cross-functional stakeholder engagement and manage external partners and suppliers (contract manufacturers, packaging vendors, agencies) to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Monitor category and consumer insights, competitor activity and retail KPIs to inform innovation priorities and commercial decisions.
- Coach and influence junior product staff and matrixed teams, ensuring rigorous project governance and launch readiness across regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven product management experience within prestige fragrances or premium beauty (minimum 6 years, with progressive responsibility).
- Track record of successful new-product launches and portfolio management in global markets.
- Strong commercial acumen with direct P&L responsibility, forecasting and margin-management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external suppliers and agencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, matrixed organisations.
