Carolina Herrera seeks a Boutique Operations Manager in La Jolla to lead boutique operations, staff and sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all day-to-day boutique operations to ensure impeccable brand standards and a superior client experience.
- Lead, coach and develop boutique staff; set targets, conduct performance reviews and manage scheduling to optimise sales coverage.
- Drive sales performance and KPI attainment through targeted action plans, visual merchandising initiatives and clienteling strategies.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment and merchandising execution in coordination with regional merchandising and supply-chain teams.
- Ensure loss-prevention protocols, store cash handling and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular operational and sales reports, contribute to local marketing and in-store events, and liaise with district/regional management.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail with demonstrable success in achieving sales targets.
- Previous experience managing a boutique or retail store, including team leadership and P&L awareness.
- Strong aptitude for visual merchandising, clienteling and delivering high-touch service standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise operational tasks and manage inventory processes.
- High level of professionalism, discretion and ability to represent a heritage luxury brand to high-net-worth clientele.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years in luxury retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory or store management role; experience with boutique-level operations and high-value client service is essential.
Education
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion or a related discipline preferred.
