Canada Goose is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for the holiday season, September to February, at Oakridge Park in Vancouver. The associate supports engaging customer journeys, sales and store operations, while embodying Canadian Warmth and representing the brand’s values; pay is CAD 20.50–25.00 per hour, with actual offers depending on experience, skills, and role alignment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Help foster a positive, productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Support key performance indicators and selling metrics—including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction—by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Support store upkeep by maintaining physical standards and cleanliness, organizing the stockroom, efficiently processing inbound and outbound shipments, and keeping the sales floor replenished for a seamless customer experience.
- Advise customers on product recommendations through expert product knowledge and cross-departmental partnership.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently in accordance with Canada Goose standards, and follow all other standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Previous work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills, and the judgment to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
