Canada Goose is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for the holiday season, October through February, at its Soho store in New York. The associate delivers engaging customer journeys, achieves sales targets, advises customers on products, and supports store operations; the hourly range is $20.50–$23.50, with actual offers depending on experience, skills, and role alignment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed individual sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Contribute to a positive, productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Support key performance indicators and selling metrics—including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction—by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness, organize the stockroom, process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and replenish the sales floor to support a seamless customer experience.
- Recommend products to customers through expert product knowledge and cross-department collaboration.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently in compliance with Canada Goose standards, and follow all standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills, and the judgment to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
