Canada Goose is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for the holiday season, September to February, at Pacific Centre in Vancouver. The role supports engaging customer journeys, sales targets, store operations, product recommendations, and a collaborative store environment; pay is CAD 20.50–25.00 per hour, with actual offers depending on experience, skills, and role alignment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets to contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Support a positive, productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Help drive key performance indicators and selling metrics, including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction, by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness, organize the stockroom, process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and keep the sales floor replenished to support a seamless customer experience.
- Recommend products to customers through expert product knowledge and cross-department partnership.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently in line with Canada Goose standards, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills, and the awareness to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
