Canada Goose seeks a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for its Oakbrook store, working the holiday season from October through February. The associate drives sales, delivers knowledgeable and engaging customer journeys, supports store operations and presentation, and collaborates with the team. Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Help foster a positive, productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Support key performance indicators and selling metrics—including conversion, average transaction value, average unit retail, and units per transaction—by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness, organize the stockroom, process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and keep the sales floor replenished to support a seamless customer experience.
- Recommend products to customers through expert product knowledge and cross-departmental partnership.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently, in line with Canada Goose standards, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills and the judgment to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
