Canada Goose seeks a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for the holiday season, August through February, to deliver engaging customer journeys, provide expert product recommendations, and support store sales and operations. The role involves achieving sales targets, maintaining store standards, processing shipments, and collaborating with the team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Contribute to a positive, productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Help drive key performance indicators and selling metrics, including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction, by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Support store upkeep by maintaining physical standards and cleanliness, organizing the stockroom, processing inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and keeping the sales floor replenished.
- Advise customers on product recommendations using expert product knowledge and cross-department collaboration.
- Use point-of-sale systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently in accordance with Canada Goose standards, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills, and awareness of when to seek guidance.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
