The part-time Seasonal Retail Associate supports Canada Goose’s Edinburgh store in delivering engaging customer journeys, driving sales and KPIs, advising customers, and maintaining store operations and standards. The role requires minimum 1–2 years of retail experience and availability Friday through Sunday, on holidays, and for evening shifts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Contribute to a positive, productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Help drive key performance indicators and sales metrics, including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction, by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Support store upkeep by maintaining physical standards and cleanliness, organizing the stockroom, processing inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and keeping the sales floor replenished to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Recommend products to customers using expert product knowledge and cross-department collaboration.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently, in compliance with Canada Goose standards, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills, and the judgment to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
