The Seasonal Retail Associate supports engaging customer journeys and store performance through sales, product recommendations, operational standards, shipment processing, and teamwork. This is a part-time seasonal role in Dublin, with availability required Friday through Sunday, on holidays, and during retail hours including evenings; compensation is €14.92, with actual offers based on experience, skills, and role alignment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Contribute to a positive and productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Help drive key performance indicators and selling metrics, including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction, by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness, organize the stockroom, process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and replenish the sales floor to support a seamless customer experience.
- Recommend products to customers through expert product knowledge and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently, in accordance with Canada Goose standards and standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability to work Friday through Sunday and all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills, and the judgment to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
