Canada Goose is hiring a part-time Seasonal Retail Associate for the holiday season, July through February, to deliver engaging customer journeys, expert product recommendations, and support store sales and operations. The role offers $19.50–$22.00 per hour, with actual offers based on responsibilities, market data, internal equity, experience, skills, and role alignment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed personal sales and key performance targets that contribute to store results.
- Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions.
- Contribute to a positive and productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Help drive key performance indicators and selling metrics—including conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction—by introducing customers to new, underperforming, and strategic product categories.
- Maintain store presentation and cleanliness, organize the stockroom, process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, and keep the sales floor replenished.
- Advise customers on product recommendations through expert product knowledge and cross-department partnership.
- Use point-of-sale systems and operational tools accurately and efficiently, in accordance with Canada Goose standards and standard operating procedures.
- Actively seek feedback to improve performance and support personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused, high-touch retail environment.
- Prior work experience with luxury or premium brands in high-volume locations.
- Open availability Friday through Sunday and on all holidays, with flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and strong in time management, organization, and multitasking, with the judgment to seek guidance when needed.
- Good understanding of store operations, including efficient shipment processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
