Canada Goose Production Floor Assistant

Role & Responsibilities

• Review the factory loading schedule daily with the supervisor to understand production targets.
• Review the approved production sample and specifications with the supervisor before production begins for each released purchase order.
• Ensure production operators have a continuous supply of work and take ownership of the department's workflow.
• Notify the supervisor in advance when operators are likely to run out of work so changes can be prepared if needed, and distribute work fairly among operators.
• Take panels or garments for recutting or replacement and return them to production as soon as possible so they can catch up with the rest of the order.
• Keep the section organized by cleaning thread cones daily and storing them on the shelf until the order is complete in the department.
• Transfer completed work to the next appropriate department.

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of numbers and measurements.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and responsibility.
