Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to achieve highest levels of customer service, sales, and profitability
- Support the management team in managing all personnel, product, merchandising functions, and business processes
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings and communicate marketing and sales promotions clearly to team members
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team to achieve goals whilst delivering exemplary customer experiences
- Consistently foster a positive store environment by treating all customers and colleagues fairly and consistently
- Support the team in delivering business strategy and ensure consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance
- Achieve personal sales performance standards including sales versus budgets, sales per hour (SPH), and units per transaction (UPT)
- Perform manager-on-duty functions, manage store opening and closing procedures, and oversee the sales floor
- Focus staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers and accountability for building repeat customer bases
- Ensure door-to-floor best practices with visual merchandising directives are executed consistently across sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions and develop possible successors
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or specialist experience within premium or luxury brands
- Proven people management experience with ability to resolve conflicts and disagreements
- Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships with ease
- Team player who recognizes and celebrates contributions and achievements of others
- Confidence in providing constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
- Adaptability and ability to work effectively with change and pace
